Tira ports 1000th Java application
"SAN FRANCISCO---June 29, 2004---2004 JavaOne Conference---Tira Wireless, a provider of enabling technology for the mobile JavaT marketplace, today announced that the Tira Jump automated porting platform has been used to create more than 1,000 Java builds from approximately 90 reference applications. Additionally, the Tira Jump platform now also supports porting to 120 different Java technology-based handsets, including the top-selling devices offered by leading manufacturers such as LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sharp, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, and others."
