The Argentine Videogames Exposition 2004
"The Argentine Videogames Exposition (EVA), organized by ADVA (Argentine Association of Videogame Developers) and sponsored by AMD Inc, will be held for its second consecutive year within the framework of the DIBA (Buenos Aires Interactive Design) festival that is carried out by the City of Buenos Aires Government.

At UTN (Universidad Tecnol?gica Nacional), and for three days in a row, starting on Thursday, September 16th, a series of conferences will be held targeted at both videogame developers avid of new knowledge and any other person interested in getting to know the latest news and events in the argentine game industry.

This year, EVA will offer several special events among which the following should be noted:

- Argentine Games Showcase: There will be a display of the latest works, which are currently under development and are in the vanguard on matters of Argentine videogame production.

- CODEAR Games 2004: There will be an award-giving ceremony of the first contest for amateur videogame developers of the country. The winner will receive an Xbox console and a Microsoft Visual Studio kindly donated by Microsoft DirectX Team.

- Sapo Awards: An international festival where the best videogames productions of last year, both domestic as well as international, will be awarded.

- Opening Celebration: An event for all gamers who want to celebrate the promising future of Argentine games.

In its last year issue, EVA constituted a milestone in the Industry for being the most prominent event on videogame development in Latin America, with over 500 attendants for 2 days.
