Symbian And Orange Collaborate to Support Developer Community
Symbian Expo, London, UK – Today at Symbian Expo - the smartphone show - Symbian and Orange announced that Orange has further committed to the Symbian Signed program by becoming a self-certifier. Symbian Signed is an industry-wide initiative led by Symbian that meets the market need for a flexible generic certification program for Symbian OS mobile applications. The program uses a range of test criteria defined in co-operation with key industry stakeholders to set a standard for application development on Symbian OS and is gaining widespread market adoption amongst phone makers, mobile operators, developers and application portals.
