Telecom Argentina Reports Strong Subscriber Growth
"The cellular market in Argentina has grown rapidly during the last months, with a substantial increase in the total number of subscribers and penetration. In this environment, total cellular subscribers of Telecom Personal in Argentina reached approximately 4,813,000 at June 30, 2005, representing an increase of approximately 1,712,000 customers, or 55%. This increase in the client base was fueled by an impressive growth in the number of GSM subscribers that represent 37% of the total customer base."
