IGN: SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Mobile Recon Preview
"September 14, 2005 - SOCOM, already a well-proven franchise on the PlayStation 2 (the original game sold over 2.5 million units), is en route to mobile. JAMDAT enlisted the support of developer Ironmonkey Studios to take on this project, completed under the blessing of Sony Computer Entertainment America. The timing of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs really couldn't be more perfect, as Sony has the third PS2 SOCOM extending its tour of duty next month and the first PSP edition of the game, Fireteam Bravo, coming in November."
