MFORMA and Rovio Launce Horrifying New Mobile Game in U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO — December 8, 2005 — MFORMA, a world-leading mobile entertainment publisher, and Rovio, an innovative European mobile games developer and publisher, are partnering to bring Rovio’s Darkest Fear, already a hit in Europe, to mobile users in the U.S. and Canada. Darkest Fear has been dubbed a “survival horror” game and is entirely original. It defines a new genre in mobile games by combining a genuinely frightening horror theme with elements of role-playing, strategy, and puzzle games. The game has been called “atmospheric and engaging” by one industry mobile game reviewer and “enthralling and original” by another. Darkest Fear is launching in the U.S. in early December and will soon be available on all major wireless operators.
