EA Mobile Led Mobile Games Downloads in the US for First Quarter of 2006, Says MMetrics
M:Metrics released rankings of mobile game titles and publishers for the first quarter of 2006. In the U.S., the measurement firm found that EA Mobile was the clear leader, with a 28.8 percent market share of downloads. EA Mobile is followed by Glu Mobile (including iFone branded titles), with 9.9 percent share of downloads, and Gameloft, with 9.1 percent. M:Metrics also ranked mobile game titles by download frequency and mobile games consumption highlights for Germany, the U.K. and the U.S.
