New Moto Z8 3G HSDPA Handset
World : Motorola announced the debut of the MOTO Z8, featuring crystal clear video capture and playback at 30 frames per second and up to 32GB of expandable memory1. The MOTO Z8, the world’s first kick slider, is expected to hit shelves in Europe and Asia in June. It will enable entertainment fans to get mobile TV2, video and music all on one device. As an added bonus, a 512MB memory card will be included in-box pre-loaded with a full-length feature film – “The Bourne Identity” – from Universal Pictures.
Top 10 mobile Games Downloads in Asia
Acme Mobile has published its list of the ten most popular mobile games downloaded across Southeast Asia in April 2007 from its web and mobile portals. Topped by Uclick's "TMNT ? Power of 4", movie-related games led Amob.com's Top Ten for April 2007. Vivendi Games Mobile's "Blackhawk Down" and Nostromo's "Mr. Bean Racer 2" also had strong showings, with branded titles taking eight of the ten top spots.
VoIP Firm Skype Prepares Game Channel
Representatives from Internet telephony company Skype have announced that the firm is to introduce a new Game Channel on its service aimed at casual gamers, to be developed by external Norwegian company Easybits, and already offering a free SDK and technical support.

M:Metrics reports that with nearly 71 percent of English-speaking Hispanics consuming mobile content in the United States, they are among the most active, engaged mobile content consumers. The measurement firm finds that the percentage of English-speaking Hispanics who consume media and information far surpasses the market average of 47.9 percent.

Nokia, Samsung and Motorola Dominate Russian Handset Market
Sales of GSM mobile phones in Russia shrank by 8.1% year on year to just under 30 million units in 2006, according to a new IDC study. By contrast, revenue increased by over 6% to US$5.48 billion as the market shifted to higher-end phones. The already saturated market is expected to recover in the coming years, with midrange handsets playing a major role.
